littletown farm was a perfect lil getaway for us. the scenery is just breathtaking with mountains everywhere! we really loved the tasty breakfast, especially the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. super comfy bed, and the room was cozy and had all the essentials. hosts were real nice, made us feel at home!

Had an awesome time with friends enjoying stunning views at the foot of the Catbell Hills. We hiked Hindscarth, then relaxed at the Newlands Adventure Centre. Sarah's warm hospitality was a highlight, and the hearty breakfast set us up for the day. Perfect spot for friends seeking adventure and peace! Just a heads up, narrow roads can be tricky for bigger cars.
One minor hiccup was getting used to the narrow roads leading to the place. A smaller car really makes sense to navigate smoothly.

The views were stunning, and we adored the cozy lounge with a log fire.

The stunning valley views will have you captivated, with picturesque hills framing the landscape. Cozy communal lounge offers an inviting atmosphere with a woodburning stove for warmth.
The rural location poses a challenge, as the nearest shop and pub are over a mile away, which may not suit everyone. Dogs barking during the night can disturb the peace, making it tough if you're light of sleep. The absence of room TVs means no evening entertainment, which could leave you feeling a bit isolated. It's worth mentioning the limited variety of breakfast options, especially for vegetarians, for anyone needing dietary choices. Some guests also experienced check-in confusion when the owner was away, as room assignments were posted haphazardly, leading us to wonder if we got the best room available.

A few more handrails would enhance bathroom accessibility.

Our couple's retreat exceeded all expectations! The warm hospitality made us feel at home, while the evening meal featuring a perfectly cooked salmon left a lasting impression. Don’t miss the hearty breakfast spread—especially the Cumberland sausage! Hiking Catbells right from the doorstep was a bonus.

We stayed for 2 nights and loved having easy access to fantastic running routes right from the door. The breakfast was super tasty. There’s a lovely communal lounge with a cozy wood-burning stove, and the beautiful garden is perfect for relaxing after a long day outdoors. The only surprise was no TV in the room, but it didn’t bother us at all! 😊

The highlight of the stay was the incredible breakfast, featuring pancakes and hot options that exceeded our high expectations. The decor in the guest house is warm and inviting, contributing to a comfortable atmosphere. The location is perfect for hiking enthusiasts, with immediate access to trails nearby. the absence of a television may be a concern for some, and though the bathroom was clean, it felt a bit cramped.
